David W. Krizan
Holds a certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator on both Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 and also holds A+ and Network+ certifications. He currently is a Technology Coordinator for an elementary school of over 600 students and 30 staff members. Responsible for administering a Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain. He supports Windows 9x, 2000 Professional and Windows XP operating systems and is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining hardware. He created and maintain the school website and teaches weekly computer classes to all students Grades K-8. He has provided a number of staff in-services on use of interactive whiteboards, PowerPoint, Real-Time and Cooperative Internet Projects. He has presented sessions to state E-Tech Ohio Conference, Summer Technology Summit, Ohio Catholic Education Association Convention and at area principalís meetings
He developed the school's technology plan and is responsible for purchasing all needed software and hardware. He supports teachers in using Distance Learning in their classes
He has taught classes at Cuyahoga Community College as part of the Savvy Cyberteacher Project, which was a federally funded program to integrate technology into the curriculum.
He also installs and maintains Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 Networks and advises customers on all facets of planning and installing the network. He monitors performance through daily and weekly monitoring of logs and perform other system administrator tasks as needed via remote desktop tools.
Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, with post-graduate work in Management Information Systems. As a Technology Coordinator she manages a network that serves 500 students and 30+ staff members. She provides training for teachers on automated grading system and curriculum mapping. She supports a Windows 2003 domain and also supports Apple's OSX. She maintains and extensive wireless network in addition to a hard-wired LAN.
She was involved in the revision of the technology curriculum for the Diocese of Cleveland and presented that curriculum at the new teacher orientation. She was responsible for developing technology plans and securing grants for the JASON project.
She has presented sessions at E-Tech Ohio and has designed a parent night on Internet Safety that is presented in conjunction with local law enforcement.
